Welcome to Shirtember!

Slices of days 603 through 607. Full images are shared at the bottom of the post.

This past week my daily posts have been teasing what I am calling “Shirtember.” The announcement of adding t-shirts to my shop. Today all 10 shirts are in the store and good to go.

There are a few things that I want to share about this new collection.

There are 2 different shirt styles, unisex & female.

The unisex shirt is a standard t-shirt that can be worn by men or women, while the female style is more tailored, usually reserved for the ladies. Size charts are provided to make sure that you get the fit you are looking for. (PRO TIP: When reviewing the size chart measure one of your own existing shirts to determine the best size.)

Each shirt is print-on-demand.

With all of the options of sizes and colors, having an inventory is not really feasible for a little shop like ours. That’s why each shirt is printed once the order has been placed. However, that also means that returns are only an option if something is defective or damaged.

BOGO 50% off sale runs through the end of the month.

It is important to me that I provide value to my audience. Whether it’s my weekly blog post or launching a new product, I want to bring the best value to the people who have signed up to follow along on this journey.

Which is why I am excited to announce a Buy One Get One 50% Off Sale exclusively for the people signed up at rebeccagallagher.com.

If you haven’t signed up already click here to enter and get your discount code.

Let’s see whatcha got…

Finally, as is my custom, I recorded opening the package of samples and put together a fun video to share. Most of the shirts came in one package, however, at the end you will see that one shirt came on it’s own (it was, of course, “Silly Goose”) and then I show mockups for 2 more shirts that were added after seeing how the first batch came out.

For the most part the artwork stayed the same as shown in this sample. However, I had one file that just didn’t translate well (“They Don’t Know That We Know They Know We Know”), so I modified the artwork and you will see both the original and adjusted versions in this video. In addition, the artwork for “Thoughts and Prayers” was reduced in size from what you see in this video.

Thanks again for all of the interest in this new collection. Click here to be taken to the store (more specifically, the new t-shirt section). I’d love to hear what you think.

This is only the beginning of products that I will carry, so if you have an eye on a particular post of mine that you would like to see carried in the shop, let me know.

So glad you like ’em! It was a process selecting this first batch, but I tried to give a variety of options. I’ve also got my eyes on some of my artwork printed on onesies, cuz I know a few grandmas and mommas who might enjoy that.

We recently started to use Klickly in conjunction with our Shopify site, so that may be a factor. Without knowing exactly what you saw (the Klickly app generates their own ads based on your product content), I’m not positive if that was it. However, that’s the only recent thing that we’ve done that could have affected that.

Was it an ad that you saw?
