The Time Has Come

ArtPrize has officially come to an end. It truly was an honor to be a part of this event. I met amazing folks, both fellow artists as well as lovely guests who were kind enough to chat with me in the basement of The BOB.

As we are winding down from all things art related, Dean & I have taken to being empty-nesters like a couple of champs and we have some additional traveling this next week. However,  I couldn’t head out of town before taking care of the drawing for the FREE 8×10 print. #heckyeah

Click on the video to see who won:

CONGRATULATIONS to our lucky winner (insert name here)! (Seriously, no spoilers, ya gotta watch the video)

Of course, I do sympathize with the majority of you who were NOT the winner of the print, cuz ya know, while I loved participating in ArtPrize I too left ole Grand Rapids with nary a prize to my name. #miserylovescompany

Overall, I’m an optimistic gal and like to bring value where I can. So while I don’t subscribe to a “we’re ALL winners” view, I did identify a few things I could do that will hopefully take away the sting of not winning the FREE print.

For those who had already pictured where they were going to hang their winnings, I’m sharing a coupon code for 10% off any purchase of a print for the next week. This applies to any ArtPrize print, any size. COUPON CODE: GimmeSomeDots

For those who weren’t looking for room décor but really want a little hole-punch artwork in their life I am sharing all 4 pieces of artwork as FREE wallpaper for your phone.

Prior to leaving for ArtPrize I made these files for my phone and I am thrilled to share those files with you as a small thank you for being a part of my email tribe.

For those who are new to these posts, each week I share about my life as a designer-turned-audiobook-narrator-with-an-artist/lettering-side-hustle-who-works-with-her-spouse. #neverdull

My hope is by sharing my story it would be one part encouragement to you in pursuing your own dreams or goals and one part entertainment. I will also accept being mildly amusing or at the very least not the most annoying message to drop in your inbox. (I’m looking at you Copper Zen Socks)

Until next time, let’s keep creating and connecting!
