Giving the Thanks (and a time lapse video)

Happy Thanksgiving week to you and yours. Definitely feeling the gratitude vibe and not just because I have finally swapped out summer clothes for Fall/Winter attire. Mama loves her knitted scarves & sweaters.

This Thursday we will be hangin’ with the extended fam for the festivities and considering that this time last year we went with a Zoom Thanksgiving, which while better than nothing, just isn’t quite the same. #imahugger

Another item on my Thankful List, I am stepping into the big-girl role of cooking the turkey. Fingers-crossed that my family’s trust is not misplaced and my time was well-spent scouring the internet for turkey tips. #holidayalliteration

Of course, one of the biggest reasons for my attitude of gratitude is that we have assembled our WhisperRoom. #woohoo

When the room was delivered I asked if anyone would be interested in seeing a time lapse of the assembly and the response was unanimous (for the handful of people who voted).

We were unsuccessful in completing the task in the 3 hours we were told it would take. We clocked in well over 4 hours. However, I’ll add to the Thankful List that I was able to get the time lapse to just under 4 minutes. #thankyouiMovie

So for those who want to see the process here’s the link for your viewing pleasure.

Otherwise, have a wonderful holiday week and please feel free to share what you are thankful for by leaving a comment or dropping me a message at email@rebeccagallagher.com Or for my die-hard Black Friday friends, let me know your game plan this year, as that is a skillset I do not possess. #onlineshoppingforever

      Ken,
We have the 4872 S Single-Wall unit. Depending upon what your purpose is I’m not sure if this would be the way to go. We are in a room with 7 foot ceilings, so this was the only unit that would fit, but my husband has basically built a smaller framework inside of it to deaden the sound for our recording. If you have the space for it, I would look into the Double-Wall unit. If you do have limitations and need to go with the single-wall, I can send you pictures of what we did because it worked great and we are getting a good recording sound and don’t have the issues with noise from our neighbors. Good luck and let me know how it goes.
